Learn to knit in the Continental style which, though less commonly used in the United States, is a more efficient (faster) form of knitting that puts less strain on the hands and wrists. We’ll make a simple pair of fingerless mitts, and will learn about yarn and needle selection, gauge, reading patterns, fixing mistakes, and more. Also great if you need a little refresher!
Kelly Knight is a visual artist living in Providence. A knitter for over 10 years, she knits for relaxation and to use up her ridiculously large stash of gorgeous yarns. She has been teaching beginner knitting and weaving classes in the Boston area since 2013.
