OK, let's get this out of the way right now: cluck! is not an online store. Indeed, we came into being precisely because our founder was tired of finding herself shopping big box and online retailers. Even the best feed and garden centers (with some notable, local exceptions) can be intimidating places-and they just shouldn't be. Shopping shouldn't mean making your best guess nor should you feel like you've asked a stupid question or forgotten a secret handshake.

You see, we think it's OK to kick the tires, to talk to someone about what you're buying, to feel like your questions are good ones, and that you are getting real answers. And when you return something, the reason should matter because it's a chance for the business to do its job better.

We expect cluck! to be successful and to grow. And one day, we may change our mind about being online. For now, we choose bricks and mortar. We will post photos and information about our products here and on our blog 'Field Notes.' If you like what you see, we invite you to come shop cluck!. In addition to the great stuff we sell, we have a nice couch to sit on, a library to peruse and a beautiful garden to wander (we like it when you hang out). If you make a day of your visit, we'll happily offer recommendations for other local shopping experiences and places to eat.

If you can't make it by, you can call us. We'll chat with you about what we sell. We deliver locally and when is makes financial sense (for you!), we'll even ship something if you are within the US. We just don't have one of those little shopping cart icons in the upper-right-hand corner of our website.
